Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi → Masai Mara – Journey into the Wild
Your adventure begins early morning with pickup from your Nairobi hotel. Travel through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint for breathtaking photos before continuing through the rolling plains of Narok County.
Arrive at Lenchada Tourist Camp by mid-afternoon, where you’ll check into your cozy dome tent and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve — Kenya’s most famous wildlife haven.
Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions roaming freely across the golden savannah before returning to camp for dinner. Relax around the evening campfire as you listen to the calls of the African night and share stories with fellow travelers.
Travel Tip: Keep your camera ready — the journey itself offers spectacular Great Rift Valley views and local cultural sights.
Distance: ~270 km | Drive Time: 5–6 hours (with stops)

Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari – Big Cats & Migration Drama
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the expansive plains of the Masai Mara. Your expert Pita Safaris guide will take you to prime locations where predators hunt and herds gather near watering holes.
If you’re traveling between July and October, witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras thunder across the Mara River — one of the world’s most spectacular natural events.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Continue your safari through the afternoon, seeking out lions, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, buffalo, and rhinos before returning to camp at sunset.
Safari Moment: Watch the golden African sun sink over the Mara plains — a memory that will stay with you forever.

Day 3: Masai Mara → Nairobi – Farewell to the Savannah
Wake up early for an optional morning game drive to spot predators before they retreat for the day, or visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture, dances, and beadwork (extra cost).
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara mid-morning, passing through Narok town and the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment before arriving in Nairobi by late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport — marking the end of an unforgettable Masai Mara adventure.
Safari Reflection: In just three days, you’ve lived the dream — exploring Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve, connecting with local culture, and camping beneath starry African skies.
