Wake shortly after midnight for the most demanding stage of your Mount Kilimanjaro trekking adventure. Begin the slow, steady ascent through the darkness towards the crater rim, following your guide's carefully paced rhythm.
Continue towards Gilman's Point and then along the crater rim towards Stella Point. Depending on your condition, weather and mountain conditions, continue towards Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point in Africa.
Reach the summit around sunrise and take time to celebrate this remarkable achievement while enjoying spectacular views across the surrounding mountain landscape.
After the summit, begin the long descent towards Kibo Hut before continuing to Horombo Hut, where you will enjoy a well-earned rest and overnight stay.
