Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our Pita Safaris representative and transferred to your comfortable midrange hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's legendary Northern Circuit safari destinations. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing after your flight or, if time permits, enjoy optional experiences such as an Arusha city tour, coffee plantation visit, or local cultural experience before your unforgettable Tanzania wildlife safari begins.

After breakfast, depart Arusha in your private 4×4 Safari Land Cruiser and drive towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wildlife concentrations, and scenic savannah landscapes. Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park's diverse habitats while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, antelopes, and abundant birdlife. Tarangire is particularly spectacular during the dry season when wildlife gathers around the Tarangire River and other remaining water sources.

After breakfast, continue your Tanzania midrange safari towards Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful Rift Valley ecosystem known for its groundwater forests, alkaline lake, diverse birdlife, and famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through the park in search of elephants, lions, baboons, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, flamingos, and other wildlife species. The changing scenery from lush forest to open grassland and lakeshore habitats provides excellent opportunities for wildlife photography.

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands before entering the vast Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy spectacular landscapes and opportunities for en-route wildlife viewing as you approach the endless plains of the Serengeti. Depending on arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and other wildlife. The Serengeti is also the stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration, with movements varying according to the season.

Spend a full day exploring the spectacular Serengeti National Park on private game drives accompanied by your professional English-speaking safari guide. Explore different areas of the Serengeti ecosystem while searching for Africa's most iconic predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, and numerous antelope species. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may also witness the Great Wildebeest Migration and dramatic predator-prey interactions. An optional sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari with a bush breakfast can also be arranged.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti before breakfast or continue your wildlife viewing as you leave the park. Travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking highland scenery and spectacular views as you approach the crater region. Depending on your itinerary and timing, there may be opportunities to visit a traditional Maasai community or explore the historic Olduvai Gorge at an additional cost. Arrive at your midrange lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and relaxation overlooking the surrounding landscape.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable morning and half-day game drive. Often described as one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations, the crater provides excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and continuing your journey towards Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
