Full Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe or Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. The drive from the airport to the city center takes approximately 45 minutes. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, acclimatizing to the African climate and preparing for the adventure ahead. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Ugandan dinner at one of the many restaurants in the city.

Day 2: Entebbe/Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, we'll drive to Murchison Falls National Park, located in the northwestern part of Uganda. The drive takes approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival at the park, you'll check in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive in the park, with the chance to see elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

Today, you'll embark on a boat cruise on the Nile River, which offers stunning views of the Murchison Falls. You'll also have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy another game drive in the park, with the chance to see more wildlife.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park

After breakfast, we'll drive to Kibale National Park, located in the southwestern part of Uganda. The drive takes approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival at the park, you'll check in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a guided forest walk in search of chimpanzees and other primates, including the red colobus and L'Hoest's monkey.

Day 5: Kibale National Park

Today, you'll enjoy another guided forest walk in Kibale National Park, with the chance to see more chimpanzees and other primates. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-based ecotourism project that protects a fragile wetland ecosystem. The sanctuary is home to a variety of bird species, as well as monkeys, otters, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you'll return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional dance performance by the local community.

Day 6: Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, we'll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the western part of Uganda. The drive takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival at the park, you'll check in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive in the park, with the chance to see elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, you'll enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery and the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy another game drive in the park, with the chance to see more wildlife.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Entebbe/Kampala

After breakfast, we'll drive back to Entebbe or Kampala. The drive takes approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. Leave Uganda with unforgettable memories of your "Wild Rivers & Primate Quest" safari.
