Day 1: Arrival in Kampala/Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our representative. You can choose to unwind in the cosmopolitan ambiance of Kampala or enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Entebbe. Rest up in your comfortable accommodation in anticipation of the adventure that lies ahead.

Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park
Setting off from Kampala/Entebbe, we embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey reveals the Ugandan countryside's lush landscapes and local life. Arrive at your lodge nestled in the forest's embrace, and enjoy the evening at leisure, acclimating to the symphony of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
An early morning start takes you into the heart of Kibale Forest. The highlight is the chimpanzee trekking experience, where you'll observe these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, a guided nature walk at the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary offers an opportunity to spot other primates, birds, and unique flora.
Following an exciting day of Chimpanzee trekking, return to your accommodation for another restful night (see above).
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse ecosystems. Settle into your lodge before embarking on an evening game drive. This is your first chance to encounter the park's myriad wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Dawn breaks with a game drive along the Kasenyi Plains, where predators are often active. In the afternoon, a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel offers close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and a congregation of waterbirds, against a backdrop of stunning scenery.
Following an exciting day of game drive, return to your accommodation for another restful night (see above).
Day 6: Bwindi via Ishasha—Tree Climbing Lions
Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector celebrated for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as you drive through this remote and beautiful region, and enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wild.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The pinnacle of your Ugandan safari unfolds in the dense canopies of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After an early breakfast, you'll attend a briefing by the park rangers who guide you on the protocols of gorilla trekking. Then, embark on a trek that varies in duration depending on the gorilla family's location. The physical effort is rewarded with the life-changing moment of coming face-to-face with the mountain gorillas, observing their behavior up close in an hour that seems to stand still. Return to your lodge with memories etched in your heart, and spend the evening at leisure, reliving the day's extraordinary moments.

Day 8: Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park
Bid farewell to the mystic Bwindi forest as we make our way to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive in time to relax and refresh at your accommodation before an evening game drive. Lake Mburo, the 'Whispers of the Wild', is the smallest of Uganda's savannah national parks and is teeming with biodiversity, including the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, impala, and zebras. As the sun sets over the savannah, the park's nocturnal creatures begin their nightly chorus, providing a soothing soundtrack to your last night in the wild.
Day 9: Morning Nature Walk and Departure to Kampala/Entebbe
Your final day begins with the sun as you set out on a guided morning nature walk, a unique opportunity to experience the African bush up close and personal. Feel the thrill of walking among the wildlife as you spot birds, plants, and perhaps some of the park's more elusive animals. After breakfast, we'll depart from Lake Mburo, heading back to the urban landscapes of Kampala. Upon arrival, you'll have time to freshen up, do some last-minute shopping, or enjoy a meal before being transferred to Entebbe Airport for your flight back home, marking the end of a truly unforgettable Uganda safari experience.

Important to Know:
- Children 13 years and above are recognized as adults
Passenger Information:
- Passengers should bring soft-sided bags on safaris as our vehicles have limited luggage space.
- All the passengers must have an Identification Card/Passport for any internal flights.
- Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Passengers arriving in UGANDA will be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.

We accept payment either by credit card or by direct wire transfer.
1. Payment by Credit Card Online
We accept Visa, Master Card, and American Express. This is the fastest and easiest method of payment as it avoids the necessity of complying with numerous banking procedures. You will need to allow for 3.9% on top of the trip cost, this being bank charges for the use of the credit card. This 3.9% charge stays with the bank, not Pita Safaris.
2. Payment by Direct Wire Transfer
If paying by this method, any bank charges incurred will be at your cost. Beneficiary bank charges are approximately $45 and they will be added by us to your invoice. It usually takes a minimum of 3 to 5 working days for the funds to arrive in our account. At that point, we can issue your booking confirmation.
