Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city center. Nairobi is a vibrant capital city with a rich history and culture. In the evening, you can explore the city's vibrant nightlife and diverse culinary scene.
Day 2: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart from Nairobi and drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, and you will have lunch en route. The Maasai Mara is one of the most popular wildlife destinations in Africa and is home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Check in to your lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 3-5: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend the next three days exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This iconic reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and wildebeest. You will have the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the most spectacular natural events in the world. The migration sees millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing. You will also have the chance to visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about their unique culture and way of life.
Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from the Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, and you will have lunch en route. Lake Nakuru is a beautiful soda lake that is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and rhinos. Check in to your lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park
Spend the day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and rhinos. You will have the opportunity to take a boat ride on the lake and see the flamingos up close. You will also have the chance to visit a rhino sanctuary and learn about the conservation efforts to protect these endangered animals.
Day 8: Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will depart from Lake Nakuru and drive to Lake Naivasha. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, and you will have lunch en route. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake that is home to a variety of wildlife, including hippos, giraffes, and zebras. Check in to your lodge and enjoy an afternoon boat ride on the lake.
Day 9: Lake Naivasha - Hell's Gate National Park
Spend the day exploring Hell's Gate National Park. The park is home to a variety of geothermal features, including geysers and hot springs. You will have the opportunity to hike through the park and see the geothermal features up close. You will also have the chance to go rock climbing or mountain biking in the park.
Day 10: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi
After breakfast, you will depart from Lake Naivasha and drive back to Nairobi. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, and you will have lunch en route. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit the Nairobi National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum, or the Maasai Market.
Day 11: Nairobi - Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your departure flight.
