Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Arusha, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town. The drive from the airport to Arusha takes approximately 45 minutes. In the afternoon, you will have a briefing with your safari guide, who will provide you with an overview of the safari itinerary and answer any questions you may have. You will also have the opportunity to purchase any last-minute supplies you may need for your safari.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll depart for Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its annual wildebeest migration. The drive to the Serengeti takes approximately 5 hours, and you'll arrive at your lodge, the Serengeti Serena Lodge, in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, elephants, and perhaps even the elusive leopard. In the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by a campfire under the stars.
Day 3: Exploring Serengeti National Park
You'll spend the next two days exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives offer the chance to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and witness the spectacle of the Great Migration. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a local Maasai village and learn about their unique culture and traditions.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today, you'll have a full day to explore the Serengeti National Park. You'll embark on morning and afternoon game drives, with a break for lunch at your lodge. The Serengeti is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. You're sure to see plenty of animals on your game drives, and you may even be lucky enough to spot a cheetah or a leopard.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at your lodge, you'll depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera and a haven for wildlife. The drive to the crater takes approximately 3 hours, and you'll arrive at your lodge, the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater, home to a dense population of lions, rhinos, and flamingos. You'll also have the chance to see zebras, elephants, and wildebeest. In the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by a campfire under the stars.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and majestic baobab trees. The drive to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours, and you'll arrive at your lodge, the Tarangire Serena Lodge, in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. In the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by a campfire under the stars.
Day 7: Tarangire National Park to Arusha
After breakfast at your lodge, you'll enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. You'll have the chance to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. After the game drive, you'll return to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
