Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe or Kampala
Upon your arrival in Uganda, you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Check in and relax at your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Ugandan dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Entebbe or Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Entebbe or Kampala. Visit the Uganda Museum to learn about the country's history and culture. Take a boat trip to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see rescued chimpanzees. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Kasubi Tombs, the burial site of the Buganda kings. Return to your hotel in the evening.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes approximately 8 hours. Check in and relax at your lodge. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kigyezi dance performance.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, set out on a gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trek can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find the gorillas, you'll have an hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge in the evening.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes approximately 4 hours. Check in and relax at your lodge. In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 6: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, set out on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and hippos. Enjoy lunch at a picnic spot in the park. Return to your lodge in the evening.
Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge
After breakfast, set out on a chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge. The trek can last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. Once you find the chimpanzees, you'll have an hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge in the evening.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe or Kampala. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute souvenir shopping or sightseeing before your departure.
