Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, our representative will greet you with the warm hospitality Uganda is known for. Depending on your preference, we'll transfer you to a handpicked hotel in the bustling city of Kampala or the tranquil lakeside town of Entebbe. Rest and rejuvenate in comfort as you prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, set out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you traverse the picturesque landscapes, anticipation builds until you arrive at your lodge nestled in the park. Later, venture out on an evening game drive. The golden hour casts a magical glow, perfect for photographing elephants, buffaloes, and a plethora of other wildlife.

Day 3: Kyumbura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking & Kazinga Channel Boat Ride

Rise early and journey to Kyumbura Gorge for a thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience. Led by expert guides, you'll navigate the forest in search of these charismatic primates. In the afternoon, unwind on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Watch as animals congregate at the water's edge – a perfect spectacle of Africa's vibrant ecosystem.

Following an exciting day of Chimpanzee tracking and game, return to your accommodation for another restful night (see above).

Day 4: Bwindi via Ishasha

Today, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with a detour through the Ishasha sector. Keep your camera at the ready for sightings of the elusive tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees. This unique behavior is a marvel of the animal kingdom and sets Ishasha apart as a must-visit destination.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Embark on the highlight of your safari – gorilla trekking in Bwindi. After a briefing, follow guides through the dense forest on the trail of the mountain gorillas. The challenge of the trek is quickly forgotten when you encounter these serene creatures, observing them in their natural habitat – a truly transformative experience.

Following an exciting day of gorilla trekking, return to your accommodation for another restful night (see above).

Day 6:  Bwindi to Lake Mburo 

Travel from the misty mountains of Bwindi to the grassy plains of Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive in time for an evening game drive where the park's diverse fauna, from zebras to impala, grace the savannah. The park's smaller size makes for intimate wildlife viewing, and the evening light provides a stunning backdrop to this serene landscape.

Day 7: Departure

Wake up to the sounds of nature in Lake Mburo and head out for an early morning nature walk, a chance to appreciate the smaller wonders of the park, including birds and plant species. After breakfast, bid farewell to the wild and travel back to the urbanity of Kampala. Soak in the last views of Uganda's countryside before your transfer to Entebbe Airport, carrying with you memories of a lifetime and stories to tell of the Pearl of Africa.

Important to Know:

- Children 13 years and above are recognized as adults

Passenger Information:

- Passengers should bring soft-sided bags on safaris as our vehicles have limited luggage space.

- All the passengers must have an Identification Card/Passport for any internal flights.

- Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.

- Passengers arriving in UGANDA will be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.

Payment Methods:

We accept payment either by credit card or by direct wire transfer.

 1. Payment by Credit Card Online

We accept Visa, Master Card, and American Express. This is the fastest and easiest method of payment as it avoids the necessity of complying with numerous banking procedures. You will need to allow for 3.9% on top of the trip cost, this being bank charges for the use of the credit card. This 3.9% charge stays with the bank, not Pita Safaris.

 2. Payment by Direct Wire Transfer

If paying by this method, any bank charges incurred will be at your cost. Beneficiary bank charges are approximately $45 and they will be added by us to your invoice. It usually takes a minimum of 3 to 5 working days for the funds to arrive in our account. At that point, we can issue your booking confirmation.
