Full Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, a journey that takes you through Kenya's scenic Rift Valley. Stop at the escarpment viewpoint for panoramic views of the valley and photo opportunities. Arrive at Lenchada Tourist Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive. Keep an eye out for the "Big Five" and other incredible wildlife, including zebras, gazelles, and giraffes, against the backdrop of rolling savannahs. Return to the camp for dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara

Rise early for a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara. Start with a sunrise game drive, the best time to catch predators in action. Witness lions on the hunt, herds of elephants grazing, and cheetahs prowling the plains. If visiting during the migration season, marvel at the dramatic river crossings of wildebeest and zebras as they evade crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, soaking in the sights and sounds of nature. In the afternoon, explore more of the reserve’s wildlife-rich areas, including the Mara River. Return to camp in the evening for a hot meal and storytelling by the campfire.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Drive through rural villages and picturesque landscapes, arriving at Hillcourt Hotel in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is famed for its alkaline lake often surrounded by thousands of flamingos, though their presence varies with water levels. Spot rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, and elusive leopards while exploring the park’s diverse habitats.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, head to Lake Naivasha, a serene freshwater lake renowned for its birdlife and tranquil ambiance. Arrive at Hotel Chambai for check-in and lunch. Spend your afternoon at leisure or opt for a boat ride (additional cost) to explore the lake and observe hippos and exotic birds such as fish eagles and kingfishers. For adventure seekers, a guided nature walk at nearby Crescent Island Game Sanctuary is also available (optional).

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

The journey passes through lush farmland and dry savannahs. Arrive at Manjaro Tented Camp for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first Amboseli game drive. Keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and predators like lions and cheetahs, all set against the iconic backdrop of Africa's highest peak.

Accommodation: Manjaro Tented Camp – basic yet comfortable budget accommodation.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Amboseli. Begin with a sunrise game drive to watch the park come alive with activity. Visit Observation Hill for sweeping views of the park's swamps and plains, where animals congregate for water. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue your exploration, visiting the marshes to see hippos and vibrant birdlife. The day ends with a scenic sunset game drive before returning to camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 7: Amboseli to Nairobi

After breakfast and a final morning game drive in Amboseli, bid farewell to the wilderness and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, where the safari ends.

Meals: Breakfast, and Lunch.

Important to Know

- Children aged between 0-2 years are free of charge.

- Children aged 3-12 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same room with adults

- Children between 3-12 years pay 75% of the adult rate when staying in their separate room from adults

- Children 13 years and above are recognized as adults
