Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be greeted by your private safari guide and driver, who will provide a warm Kenyan welcome. You will then be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Accommodation Option: Ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands – a stylish hotel offering modern rooms, a variety of amenities, and convenient access to Nairobi’s vibrant atmosphere.
Meals: Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, offering both international and local cuisine.

Day 2: Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks. The scenic 5-hour drive will offer beautiful views of rural life in Kenya. Upon arrival, check into Sentrim Tsavo Camp for lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is known for its vast open plains and red elephants, which are colored by the park’s red volcanic soil. Look out for lions, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species during your game drive.

Accommodation Option: Sentrim Tsavo Camp – a comfortable camp offering a unique and authentic safari experience, close to the park’s wildlife.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch at the lodge, and Dinner at the camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Tsavo East National Park with Picnic Lunch

Start your day with an early morning game drive to spot the wildlife in the cooler morning hours. Tsavo East’s diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife make it one of the most rewarding parks for game viewing. Visit the Aruba Dam, a key water source that attracts various animals. After the morning game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park surrounded by nature.

In the afternoon, continue exploring other areas of the park before returning to your lodge as the sun begins to set.

Meals: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch in the park, and Dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park, a park known for its dramatic landscapes, volcanic features, and rich wildlife. Upon arrival, check into Ngulia Safari Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the park’s unique beauty. A highlight is Mzima Springs, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles in the clear waters. You will also visit the Shetani Lava Flow, a fascinating volcanic feature in the park.

Return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night in the peaceful surroundings of Tsavo West.

Accommodation Option: Ngulia Safari Lodge – an elegant lodge offering stunning views of the park’s landscapes and wildlife.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch at the lodge, and Dinner at the lodge.

Day 5: Full Day in Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to explore more of Tsavo West’s diverse terrain. Visit the Chyulu Hills for panoramic views and to spot rhinos at the Rhino Sanctuary. Tsavo West’s unique landscapes provide a rich backdrop for wildlife viewing, including elephants, lions, and an array of bird species. After the morning drive, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation time.

In the afternoon, continue your safari with another game drive, visiting highlights such as Roaring Rocks and Poacher’s Lookout for incredible views of the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and your second night in Tsavo West.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch at the lodge, and Dinner at the lodge.

Day 6: Tsavo West to Nairobi and Departure

Begin your final day with an early morning game drive, the last chance to spot wildlife in the cool morning light. After the game drive, enjoy breakfast before starting the journey back to Nairobi. You will stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to JKIA for your departure flight or to your Nairobi hotel if you have more plans.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch (on the way to Nairobi), and Dinner (if staying in Nairobi).

Inclusions

- Accommodation: 1 night in Nairobi at Ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands, 2 nights in Tsavo East National Park at Sentrim Tsavo Camp, and 2 nights in Tsavo West National Park at Ngulia Safari Lodge (alternative accommodations will be provided if these are unavailable).

- Meals: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) throughout the trip, including picnic lunch in Tsavo East and en-route lunch during the return to Nairobi.

- Transport: Comfortable, air-conditioned 4x4 safari vehicle with a professional guide and driver for game drives and transfers.

- Game Drives: Morning and afternoon game drives in Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks, led by an experienced safari guide.

- Park Fees: All entrance fees to Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks.

- Bottled Water: Complimentary bottled water during the safari.

- Guided Tours: Guided game drives and park activities, including visits to Aruba Dam, Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava Flow, Chyulu Hills, Rhino Sanctuary, Roaring Rocks, and Poacher’s Lookout.

Exclusions

- International Flights: Flights to and from Nairobi are not included.

- Personal Expenses: Items such as souvenirs, personal tips, and extra drinks or snacks.

- Travel Insurance: Travel and medical insurance are not included.

- Optional Activities: Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari or cultural village visits.

- Gratuities: Tips for the driver/guide and lodge staff are not included.

- Alcoholic Beverages: Alcoholic drinks and beverages are at an extra cost.

Important to Know

- Children aged between 0-2 years are free of charge.

- Children aged 3-12 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same room with adults

- Children between 3-12 years pay 75% of the adult rate when staying in their separate room from adults

- Children 13 years and above are recognized as adults
