Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be met by your private safari guide and driver. Enjoy a warm Kenyan welcome and a seamless transfer to the Tamarind Tree Hotel, a stylish urban oasis located close to Nairobi National Park. After check-in, relax and unwind in the comfort of your well-appointed room, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy a delightful dinner at the hotel’s restaurant featuring a variety of local and international cuisines.

Accommodation Option: Tamarind Tree Hotel – modern comfort with excellent dining and amenities.
Meals: Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After a hearty breakfast at the Tamarind Tree Hotel, begin your journey towards the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the stunning Great Rift Valley, offering several opportunities to stop for photos of the breathtaking landscapes. Arrive at Sarova Mara Game Camp in time for a delicious lunch. This luxurious camp combines comfort with an authentic safari atmosphere.

In the afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara is famed for its incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other iconic species such as cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes. Witness the dramatic African sunset before returning to the camp for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

Start your day with an early morning game drive, a magical time to see wildlife at its most active and capture stunning sunrise photos. Return to Sarova Mara Game Camp for a sumptuous breakfast. Spend the late morning at leisure, where you can relax or participate in optional activities such as a nature walk or a visit to a Maasai village to learn about the rich cultural heritage of the Maasai people.

After lunch, head out for another exciting game drive, exploring different areas of the reserve. If traveling during the Great Migration, you may witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and a peaceful night under the African sky.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch box in hand. The scenic drive takes you across Kenya’s diverse landscapes and offers glimpses of rural life. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the park’s tranquil beauty before heading out on an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its flamingo-lined shores, rhino sanctuary, and diverse ecosystems, including forests, grasslands, and the lake itself. Spot wildlife such as rhinos, lions, leopards, and gazelles. In the evening, check into the luxurious Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. Relax and enjoy a delicious dinner as you soak in views of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge before setting out on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Visit the Baboon Cliff viewpoint for panoramic views of the park and the lake. Afterward, begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward journey or to your Nairobi hotel for an extended stay. Reflect on the incredible wildlife and cultural experiences of the past few days as your safari adventure comes to an end.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

Inclusions:

- Accommodation: 1 night in Nairobi at Tamarind Tree Hotel, and 2 nights in Masai Mara at Sarova Mara Game Camp (alternative accommodations will be provided if these are unavailable).

- Meals: All meals as specified in the itinerary (Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, and Dinner).

- Transportation: Return transfers from Nairobi to Masai Mara in a comfortable safari vehicle with a professional guide.

- Game Drives: Daily game drives in Masai Mara with an experienced guide.

- Park Fees: Entrance fees to Masai Mara National Reserve.

- Optional Activities: Hot air balloon safari or cultural visit to a Maasai village (at additional cost).

- Children aged between 0-2 years are free of charge.

- Children aged 3-12 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same room with adults

- Children between 3-12 years pay 75% of the adult rate when staying in their separate room from adults
