Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our friendly guide and driver, who will provide a warm Tanzanian welcome. Enjoy a seamless transfer to Green Mountain Lodge, a charming lodge situated in the peaceful outskirts of Arusha. Here, you can relax and unwind after your journey, surrounded by lush gardens and the calming ambiance of Mount Meru. If time permits, optional at extra cost explore the vibrant streets of Arusha, visit local craft markets, or simply enjoy the lodge’s amenities. Take this evening to prepare for the adventure ahead, knowing you’re in expert hands.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting off for Tarangire National Park, located approximately two hours from Arusha. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. The park’s varied terrain of rolling savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverine areas provides a home to lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. Embark on an exhilarating game drive, pausing for a picnic lunch under the shade of ancient trees as you take in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and drive to Twiga Campsite in the nearby town of Mto Wa Mbu. Relax at this friendly campsite, which offers modern amenities and an inviting atmosphere, before enjoying a delicious dinner under the starry sky.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Rise early and enjoy breakfast before heading to Lake Manyara National Park, a jewel of biodiversity tucked beneath the towering escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. This compact yet scenic park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flocks of pink flamingos, and dense forests teeming with wildlife. During your game drive, marvel at the dramatic contrasts of Lake Manyara's landscapes—from lush groundwater forests to open grassy plains. Keep an eye out for elephants, hippos, and the park’s rich birdlife, including pelicans, herons, and kingfishers. Around midday, stop for a picnic lunch overlooking the shimmering lake. After an adventurous day, return to Twiga Campsite, where you can share stories of your encounters around the campfire, enjoy dinner, and rest for the final leg of your safari.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater and Departure

Depart early for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit destination for any safari. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is a 600-meter-deep caldera that harbors an incredible concentration of wildlife. Descend to the crater floor, where you’ll embark on a thrilling game drive through this unique ecosystem. Spot lions basking in the morning sun, rhinos grazing in the open plains, and hippos wallowing in the freshwater pools. The crater is also home to zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and countless other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery of the crater floor. Afterward, ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your travel plans, you’ll be dropped off at your lodge or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s spectacular landscapes and wildlife.

- Children aged between 0-2 years are free of charge.

- Children aged 3-12 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same room with adults

- Children between 3-12 years pay 75% of the adult rate when staying in their separate room from adults
