Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, your journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve begins. The drive takes you through the awe-inspiring Great Rift Valley, a geologic and scenic marvel that stretches across East Africa. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to stop and take in the breathtaking views, perhaps even capturing some photos of the dramatic landscape. Upon arriving at your lodge or camp in the Masai Mara, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome and a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first thrilling game drive. The Masai Mara is renowned for its rich diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. As the sun sets, the landscape is bathed in a golden glow, offering perfect conditions for photography. Return to your lodge or camp for a sumptuous dinner and a peaceful night’s sleep, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara

Your day starts with an early morning game drive, the best time to observe the animals as they begin their day. The cool morning air is alive with activity, from lions on the hunt to herds of elephants grazing peacefully. After a few hours of exploring, return to your lodge or camp for a hearty breakfast. The remainder of the morning is yours to enjoy at leisure; perhaps take a refreshing dip in the pool or simply relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. After lunch, you have the option to embark on another game drive or choose an optional activity such as a hot air balloon safari (additional cost), which offers a unique perspective of the sprawling savannah below. As the day draws to a close, gather around the campfire for dinner, sharing stories of your wildlife encounters and experiences.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi & Departure

On your final day, enjoy an early breakfast before heading out on one last game drive. This is your chance to capture any remaining sights of the majestic animals that inhabit the Masai Mara. The morning light provides excellent conditions for photography, making it the perfect time to snap those final memorable shots. After the game drive, you will begin your scenic journey back to Nairobi, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the past days. Arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, you might have time for a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you will be transferred to JKIA for your departure flight or onward travel plans, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Kenyan safari adventure.
