Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's safari destinations, you'll be warmly welcomed by a Pita Safaris representative. Feel the excitement build as you are transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind and spend the night with the anticipation of the adventure that awaits. Arusha's vibrant culture and majestic Mount Meru backdrop set the stage for your safari journey.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Awake to the buzz of Arusha before setting off for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive itself is a scenic introduction to the Tanzanian landscape. Upon arrival, marvel at the park's famed tree-climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingos adorning the alkaline lake. As the day unfolds, explore the diverse biosphere, from the groundwater forest to the acacia woodland. As dusk falls, retreat to your campsite where the night will be spent under a tapestry of stars, enveloped by the nocturnal sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

With the dawn chorus as your alarm, depart to the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, revealing the changing landscapes and the possibility of encountering wildlife en route. Upon arrival, dive into an afternoon game drive where each turn can reveal Africa’s iconic wildlife – from herds of wildebeest to stealthy predators. Later, as the sun begins to dip below the horizon, your guide will set up camp within the park boundaries, allowing for a night of serene sleep amidst the sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti

The Serengeti's allure is undeniable, and a full-day game drive affords you the luxury of time to truly appreciate its wonders. Traverse the savannah in search of the Big Five and witness the intricate balance of this ecosystem. The rolling grasslands and acacia-strewn plains are a theatre of life and survival. As the evening approaches, return to your campsite, recounting the day's sightings over a campfire dinner, with the night spent under the vast, star-studded African sky.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Capture a final Serengeti sunrise during a morning game drive before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey leads you to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a world heritage site and haven for wildlife. Set camp on the crater's rim with panoramic views that stretch to the horizon. As the sun sets, the crater's walls embrace your camp, providing a dramatic backdrop for an evening at one of the most spectacular locations on the planet.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an extraordinary game drive. This natural amphitheater is home to a high density of animals, including rare black rhinos and large tusker elephants. After a morning filled with wildlife encounters, it's time to bid farewell to the crater. The drive back to Arusha is reflective, passing through the highlands and villages, with memories of the past days vivid in your mind.
